Why aggressive pressure is not the answer
Many roofing materials cannot take high pressure. On asphalt shingles it strips protective granules. On tile it can force water past the underlayment and break the seal at the laps. On coated metal it damages the finish.
Low-pressure roof washing solves the same problem differently: the treatment breaks down the organic growth and the surface is rinsed gently. The roof gets clean and the material stays intact.
What happens on the day
We assess the roof and its condition first, protect and rinse plants and surfaces below, apply the treatment, then rinse. We are honest about what results to expect — staining that has etched into an old surface may not fully disappear, and we will say so before you book rather than after.

- Why isn't pressure washing right for roofs?
- High pressure can lift shingle granules, drive water under tiles and damage coatings on metal roofing. Low-pressure roof washing uses the correct treatment and a gentle rinse instead, which removes the growth without putting the roof surface at risk.
- Which roofs can you clean?
- We clean appropriate roof surfaces including asphalt shingle, concrete and clay tile and metal roofing. We assess the roof and its condition before quoting. If a roof is too fragile or damaged to clean safely, we will say so.
- Will roof cleaning harm my landscaping?
